FISHER LANDS HOLE-IN-ONE AT 2017 VOLVO CHINA OPEN

Beijing (CHINA): England’s Ross Fisher produced the second hole-in-one of the 2017 Volvo China Open by holing his pitching wedge tee shot on the 128-yard, par three 6th at Topwin Golf and Country Club in Huairou, Beijing.

Currently ranked fifth in The Race to Dubai, Fisher’s eagle on day three took him to four-under par for the tournament and follow’s American Ryan Dillon’s ace on the opening day of the RMB 20 million event.

But like Dillon, whose hole-in-one came at the 13th, Fisher misses out on the hole-in-one prize of a Volvo V90 Cross Country, which is only on offer to the first golfer to ace the par three 16th on the Ian Woosnam-designed course.
